World Slashers finals on today at Big Dome

MANILA, Philippines - The World Slashers Cup-2 holds its two-day finals beginning today with the leading scorers from Group A clashing for berths in tomorrow’s grand finals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Mayor Jose Panganiban’s entries dominated the Group B semis last Thursday, posting four wins and two draws.

The lesser fancied entries have dominated the event hosted by the Pintakasi of Champions and sponsored by Thunderbird Bexan XP and Thunderbird Romoxtyl.

Shooting for seven points are three-pointers Rey Briones, Nestor Vendivil of Nueva Ecija, Boy Marzo, Dicky Lim, Atty. Jun Mendoza, Engr. Remy Medrano, James Uy, Rep. Amado Bagatsing, Bebeng Zulueta and Mayor Cito Alberto, among others.

Other standouts from Group B are Tunu Legaspi, Cockfights publisher Wilvin Sy, Nelson Uy and Judge Paneda, Bong Valle/Danny Aramada/Jomar Palomaria, Rhemy Medrano, Rey Briones and Teng Ranolaa with Mayor Jesry Palmares.
