PCCI youth holds All Star Golf Cup

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry youth affairs committee is staging the All Star Golf Cup: Celebrities Meet Entrepreneurs Monday at the Alabang Country Club in Muntinlupa.Teeoff time is 7 a.m.

According to Louie Kaw, chairman of the PCCI youth affairs committee, the tournament will be “a fun day where participants will be able to, not just enjoy a round of golf together, but perhaps find ways to help boost the country’s economy.

Proceeds from the event will fund the committee’s projects.

Heading the field are Sen. Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Derek Ramsey, Grace Lee, Daisy Reyes, Vernie Varga, Aiko Melendez, Martin Nievera, Dingdong Avanzado, PCCI youth committee golf chairperson, artist and entrepreneur Pops Fernandez. Golfers from the business community include Donald Dee, Francis Chua, Sergio Ortiz Luis, Edgardo Lacson and other leaders of the PCCI.

The event is backed by Meralco, Bridgestone, Dunfeng International, Shell, Smart, BA Securities, Ethical Pharma, iRest, Resorts World, Duty Free, Simbulan Enterprises, Fila, Gowell Tight Seal, San Miguel and The Philippine STAR.
