Superbikes, scooter, underbone series slated at Clark

MANILA, Philippines – The Bridgestone Philippine Superbikes Championships, the Philippine Scooter Racing Championships and the Philippine Underbone King Championships hold their respective second legs this Sunday with the country’s top racers seeing action at the Clark International Speedway in Clark Field, Pampanga.

Raniel Resuello, Arlan dela Cruz and Masato Fernando seek their second straight victories in their respective events. Resuello, 20, goes up against Anthony Roman and Marvin Mangulabnan in the Superbikes category sanctioned by Superbikes Racing Association with Bridgestone as the official superbikes tires.

Dela Cruz, on the other hand, eyes a repeat over Miko Erich Montano and Ivan Santiago in the premier 180cc scooter racing tilt while Fernando goes for back-to-back wins in the Underbone Open against Niño Fabian and Roman.

Meanwhile, Roman tries to make it two-in-a-row in the Superbikes novice class as he takes on Mangulabnan and Erwin Agra while Toti Alberto goes for a repeat in the Superbikes Expert and Masters divisions against John Defensor.
