Untried TRS-Castrol kids seek honors in nat'l karting series
MANILA, Philippines - The Tuason Racing School (TRS)-Castrol Kids Team tackle a bigger challenge as they compete in second leg of the National Karting Series at the Batangas Racing Circuit tomorrow in Rosario, Batangas.
The trio of Wills Casequin, Arthur “AT” Tuason and Flynn Jackes is set to go all out to win honors for the TRS-Castrol Kids Team powered by Castrol, Bridgestone, Standard Insurance, C! Magazine, OMP, Coke Zero, Oakley, Aguila and Toptul.
Casequin tries to bounce back in the Cadet Expert class after kart problems forced him out early in the final race.
Tuason guns for a crucial victory to snatch solo leadership in the Cadet Expert class. Following his third place finish in the kickoff leg, he garnered 34 points to stay just a slim point behind Tai Zulberti and Dylan Arambulo who share the lead with 35.
Jackes, who copped runner-up honors in the Mini-ROK division last month, likewise goes for the win to wrest the top spot.
Being the pioneer protégés of the Castrol Champions of the Future program, the three are groomed as the next superstar champions of Philippine Karting as TRS president JP Tuason expects them to show improvement in skills, strategy and racing judgment.
