MANILA, Philippines - The Riviera Festival Open tournament caps the Riviera Golf Festival Sunday at the Couples Course.
The competition, whose format is stroke play, gross and net competion, is open to amateur golfers of all ages. Handicaps shall be determined using a combination of system 36 and double peoria.
Pre-registration is required for tee-off time and pairings. Entry fee is P1,500 for members and P2,500 for non-members, inclusive of green fee, giveaways and buffet meal during the awarding.
The participants shall be classified as junior boys (age 17 and younger), junior girls (17 and younger), ladies (18-49), men’s (18-49), superior men (50-above) and superior women (50-above).
The lowest gross scorers in each category shall receive a trophy. The top 2 in each category with the lowest net scores will also receive trophies.
Awards for all festival tournaments and events will be presented during the festival awarding ceremonies set at the Riviera poolside on April 29 at 4 p.m. onwards.
“We would like to thank everyone who have visited The Riviera so far and we invite other golfers and sports enthusiasts to the sports club and try our different sports facilities,” says VAdm Emilio Marayag Jr, president of the Riviera Sports and Country Club. The Sports Club is open to all until Sunday.
