Nomads, for its part, was stalled at sixth with Army Fritz & Macziol FC with nine points apiece after absorbing its fifth loss against two triumphs and three draws.
Loyola Meralco Sparks FC, which turned back Green Archers United FC, 3-2, Saturday, leads the way with 25 points followed by Global FC and Kaya FC with 24 points apiece, Stallion Gilligan’s FC with 15 points and reigning League and Cup champion Air Force Phoenix FC with 12 points.
In Second Division action, Team Socceroo smothered Lions Meltique Beef FC, 5-1, to hike its total to 17 points on five victories, two draws against six setbacks for No. 7.
The Lions remained at 10th spot with seven points on a 2-1-9 (win-draw-loss) slate.
Pachanga FC continued to pull away from the pack with 37 points after it downed Dolphins United FC, 1-0, the other day at the Alabang Country Club grounds.
