MANILA, Philippines - Carlo Biado downed Taiwanese Yang Ching-shun, 9-3, to win the Philippine Bigtime Billiards (PBB) Face-Off Series dubbed Philippines versus Asia at the Pagcor Airport Casino in Parañaque late Saturday.
Biado played steady to cash in on the winner’s break format, winning five straight racks on run-outs to break from a 2-all count en route to victory.
The win, worth $5,000, thus pulled Team Phl within 2-3, against Team Asia in the event’s new format.
