MANILA, Philippines - Two hundred and fifty athletes are competing for honors today in the first major duathlon event of the year – the Pocari Sweat Duathlon – at the Fort Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
Organized by Bikeking, the race will cover a greater portion of the Global City. Participants will run six kilometers from Third Avenue to Eleventh Avenue, bike 30 kilometers in a wide perimeter on Rizal Drive, and return to the same run course for the final 4K.
Along the way participants will get to see notable urban spots like the Fort Complex, the NBC Tent and The Mind Museum.
At stake are medals and gift items for individual open, age-group and team relay winners.
All finishers will receive commemorative medals and will be entitled to recovery perks and premium items at the Unilab Active Health Tent.
