Roldan, Javier rule ABC sponsors Cup

MANILA, Philippines - Boy Roldan and Ronnie Javier of Steeltech combined for 1739 to rule the Architects Bowling Cup’s first week of Sponsors Cup at E Lanes, Ortigas Ave. Greenhills, San Juan City last week.

Duraflex Wires and Cables’ Jimmy Ocampo and Art Figueras pooled a 1667 for second while the Eurodach team of Margie Poblete and Hermi Prudente rolled a 1651 to place third in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, ABC president Ronnie Javier is inviting all ABC provincial chapters to join the ABC-Boysen Open classic tournament of Feb. 25 to March 4, also at E Lanes, as ABC braces for its 35th founding anniversary with a club overseas trip to Beijing, China this May.

The tournament, backed by Mozzaico, Wekonstruk, La Vida Verde, Boysen Perlecents/Knoxout/Suede, Philflex Wires & Cables, Crown Pipes Supreme, Duraflex TW/THHN/THW Wires, Nation Titans, Emerald Pipes, Moldex Pipes, Dn Steel, ABC Phils., Unitec Pipes, Firefly-ROYU, Crown PVC Pipes, Miraga, HCG, Concrete Ventures, ProActive Pest Control, August Alliance and Supreme Steel Pipes, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of Valentine Doubles also at E Lanes.
