MANILA, Philippines - Rod Nazario’s In This Corner presents its pre-Valentine’s Day special treat tonight as it airs the Orient Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) super-featherweight title match between champion Ronald Pontillas and challenger Dong-Hyuk Kim of Korea over PTV-4 from 7-8 p.m.

The controversial 12-round bout presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), and Petron, was held at the Yangnam Hot Spring Resort Convention Hall, Yangnam City, Gyeongju, South Korea.

Pontillas (13-3, 6KOs), fighting out of the Rod Nazario boxing gym, is defending for the second time the title he won over Masao Nakamura following a sensational first round technical knockout in Osaka, Japan last year.

Kim (5-1, 1 KO), rated ninth by the OPBF and reigning Korean super-featherweight champion, is a former kickboxer turned international boxing champion.

Soon Chul Hwang is the third man on the ring, while the three ring judges are Virgilio Garcia (Philippines), Joong-Suk Kwon (Korea), and Katsuhiko Nakamura (Japan).
