MANILA, Philippines - The Seaoil National Basketball Training Center Elite League closes out its national finals with its first ever Seaoil High School All-Star Game on March 4 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Patterned after the successful McDonald’s All-American Game, coaches from the NBTC as well as media will help select the best 30 from some 5,000 players from 139 schools all over the country.
“There will be players who qualify from our tryouts and one each from Zamboanga, Cagayan de Oro, Bacolod, Iloilo, and Cebu,” said NBTC training director Alex Compton. “We are excited to provide these graduating high school players with the opportunity to showcase their talents on the national stage.”
Basketball fans from all over the country will get to follow their respective players on television as the All-Star Game will be televised on AKTV.
The participating cities in the NBTC program include National Capital Region, Baguio, La Union, Tarlac, Olongapo, Batangas, Cavite, Lucena, Naga, Cebu, Bacolod, Iloilo, Ormoc, Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Iligan, and Zamboanga.
