MANILA, Philippines - ABG president Ronnie Javier and May Sabater of Moldex Pipes copped the Group 1 crown with 1709 while the tandem of Vic Sison and Tony Sabater of Concrete Venture rolled 1443 to annex the Group 2 plum in the Architects Bowling Club’s Corporate Cup doubles competitions last week at E Lanes, Ortigas Ave., Greenhills, San Juan City.
The Homeworks duo of Romi de Jesus and Buddy Segui scored 1690 to finish second while Boysen Team of Jerry Cham and Dante Manglicmot had 1566 to place third in Group 1 in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.
Boy Roldan and Greg Mare of La Vida Verde came up with 1364 for second while Crown PVC Pipes team of Paul Ayson and Zeny Prudente submitted 1353 to claim third place in Group 2.
Meanwhile, the ABC president is inviting all licensed architects to join the tournmanet every Tuesday as ABC gears up for its 35th Founding Anniversary with a club trip to Beijing, China in May and the ABC-Boysen Open Classic Tournament on Feb. 25 to March 4 at E Lanes.
