MANILA, Philippines - The third RUNew 2012, a fund-raising event organized by Asian Hospital and Medical Center, will be held Feb. 26 with a big field, including running enthusiasts, health buffs and weekend runners, expected to participate at the Filinvest Corporate City in Alabang.
The footrace has become one of Asian Hospital and Medical Center’s blue ribbon events with organizers confident of drawing more participants to stay healthy through running and at the same time raise funds for a good cause.
Proceeds of the event will be donated to the Asian Charities, Inc., the charity arm of Asian Hospital and Medical Center which will be used to fund the medical and surgical needs of its indigent patients.
Registration is on-going and will end Feb. 19 at Riovana Bonifacio Global City and Katipunan and Athlete’s Foot at Alabang Town Center. Events on tap are 21k, 10k, 5k, and 3k. Registration fees are pegged at P750, P650, P550, and P500, respectively.
