PG Flex backs Phl Patriots
MANILA, Philippines - PG Flex Linoleum, one of the country’s leading players in home industry, has thrown its support to the title campaign of the AirAsia Philippine Patriots in the third season of the AirAsia ASEAN Basketball League unfolding tomorrow at the San Juan gym.
All the games of the AirAsia Phl Patriots, according to the league’s marketing officer Pacco Paloma, will be co-presented by PG Flex, manufacturer of the best-selling linoleum products in the country.
“The management of PG Flex is committed to support the campaign of the AirAsia Philippine Patriots since they believe the team has what it takes to become a champion team again,” said Paloma.
”It’s our own little way to help hasten the growth of sports in the country, especially basketball,” said PG Flex owner Nelson Guevarra.
The team’s outfitter is Accel while Avis Philippines will provide transportation to the Patriots.
“The Patriots play not just to compete but also to inspire the youth in achieving their dreams and basketball may be the country’s vehicle to be recognized again and we would like to be part of it,” said Arnel Sebastian, national manager for sales and marketing and operations group manager for Hotel accounts of Avis Phil.
Aside from PG Flex, Accel and Avis Phil., other backers of the Phl Patriots are Harbour Centre, DPC Yellow Pages, Gold’s Gym, Gerry’s Grill, Timex, Burlington, UK Derm, Piaggio, Kinesio, Solid Shipping and Lifeline Rescue.
