MANILA, Philippines - The Universal Reality Combat Championship and Colt 45 are holding their first tournament of the year on Jan. 13 at the Cebu International Convention Center in Cebu City in conjunction with the Sinulog festival celebrations.
Top local mixed martial arts practitioner Eduard Folayang returns to action against Brazilian Wadson “Knockout” Teixeira to highlight the 10-fight event dubbed Colt45 URCC Cebu 7: Domination.
“We want to start the year right, so we are bringing in Eduard back to the MMA scene. Just like last year, we expect another huge crowd,” said URCC president Alvin Aguilar. “It’s going to be one big event in Cebu because the sport is fast gaining popularity in the south.”
Folayang is coming off a successful SEA Games campaign in Indonesia where he retained his title.
