MANILA, Philippines - The Young Knights League (Category IV) chess tournament reels off at 10:30 a.m. today at ETON Cyberpod Corinthian in Ortigas cor. EDSA.
The event is exclusive for those who have enrolled in the Milo Checkmate year-round chess clinics, whose ratings are not over 1900.
Play will be a five-round Swiss system with time control of 45 minutes. The winner will get P4,000.
Other events on tap are the 8-under; 10-under; 12-under; 14-under and 16-under divisions.
