Paragua, Barbosa duel in blitz series

MANILA, Philippines - Grandmasters Mark Paragua and Oliver Barbosa will clash in a best-of-four blitz exhibition match on Dec. 30 at the Victory Central Mall in Caloocan City.

Paragua and Barbosa settled for a draw in their last encounter in the Gov. Amado Espino Cup tournament which the latter won in Pangasinan recently.

The upcoming event, put up by the Paragua Chess Academy in partnership with Victory Central Mall, Manila Broadcasting Company and Filway Marketing Inc., also features a rapid tournament for non-master, juniors division (18-year-old and below) and kiddies (14-year-old and below).
