Biado, Chang clash tonite

MANILA, Philippines - Carlo Biado tries to get even with Chang Jung-lin as they clash tonight at resumption of the Philippine Bigtime Billiards (PBB) Face Off Series at Pagcor Airport Casino in Parañaque City.

Chang foiled Filipino Roberto Gomez, 9-7, in the last PBB series with Biado going all-out to exact revenge at the Taiwanese ace in the match unfolding at 9 p.m.

The 10-ball event, a race-to-9, winner’s break format event, is jointly organized by the Mega Sports World and BRKHRD Corp. It will be aired live on Solar Sports, Sky Channel 70 and Destiny Channel 34 while live streaming can be viewed on www.megasportsworld.com and www.philippinebigtimebilliards.com. 

The winner will get $5,000.

Other backers of the event are Airport Casino Filipino, Crown Sound System, Sakura Amplifiers and Home Theater Systems, Malungai Life Oil, Diamond Billiard Table, Hermes Sports Bar, I-Bar, Golden Leaf Restaurant, Bugsy Promotions, Mandarin Sky Sea Food Restaurant, Billiards Managers and Players Association of the Philippines (BMPAP) with The Philippine Star as official media partner.

Meanwhile, pool legend Efren “Bata” Reyes takes on Wu Chia Ching of China in the next PBB series on Dec. 30.
