Lady Thunder grab semis seat
MANILA, Philippines - Rizal Technological University pulled off a 25-18, 25-18, 25-16 win over Emilio Aguinaldo College-Cavite yesterday to clinch a semifinal berth in the 19th National Capital Region Athletic Association (NCRAA) women’s volleyball tournament at the Ugnayang La Salle gymnasium in Dasmariñas, Cavite.
The Lady Thunder finished their elimination-round assignment with three wins and a loss to assure themselves of a Final Four stint in the event supported by Mikasa, Molten balls and Agrinurture Inc.
Philippine School of Business Administration toppled PATTS College of Aeronautics, 25-21, 25-10, 25-12, for its second win in three games in a tie with defending champion La Salle-Dasmariñas Lady Patriots.
La Salle-Dasmariñas held off PATTS College of Aeronautics, 25-20, 25-17, 25-18, Philippine Merchant Marine School Mariners edged Olivarez College, 25-20, 25-14, 26-24, while RTU beat EAC-Cavite, 25-22, 25-15, 26-24.
