MANILA, Philippines - The second leg of the Pilipinas Amateur Golf (PAG) Series comes off the wraps with more than 100 players expected today at the scenic Splendido Golf and Country Club in Tagaytay City.
Among those confirmed playing are the first leg champions in the different divisions as they vie for a Texas Eagle golf cart, a Mizuno set and a GPS Tracker with a year of UnliTalk subscription service staked as hole-in-one prizes.
“We hope to duplicate the success of the maiden tournament at Sherwood Hills at Splendido,” said tournament director Rodel Mangulabnan of the series which aims to discover new and potential amateur talents.
Already confirmed are nine legs in the PAG schedule with four more clubs, namely, Camp John Hay, Riviera, Summit Point and Valley Golf, hoping to host additional tournaments.
Sponsored by Mizuno, Callaway, Cleveland, CJH, Impact, Mizuno, Nike Golf, Pinoygolfer, Srixon, Raymundo’s Trophies, Texas Eagle and Turf Co., the other hosts are Northwoods, Malarayat, Forest Hills, Cebu CC and Ayala Greenfields, and either Pueblo de Oro of Apo Golf Club.
