MANILA, Philippines - A Filipino martial arts instructor – who has been in charge of training elite teams from the country’s law enforcement units – will be holding free seminars for the public during the five-day 2011 Defense & Sporting Arms Part 2 on Nov. 17 at the SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
Dindo de Jesus, chief instructor of Krav Maga Philippines (KMP), will be among the resource speakers during the DSAS event to highlight the benefits of learning popular self-defense system in the country.
De Jesus is one of the four Filipino Krav Maga instructors who just received a Graduate Level 2 certification as KM self-defense instructor.
Aside from being a regular main stay in the DSAS events, De Jesusalso teaches Krav Maga to the Philippine National Police-Police Security and Protection Group and the Presidential Security Group.
Organized by the Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers (AFAD) led by its president, Neri Dionisio, this year’s theme for the DSAS Part 2 is “Right to Life, Right to Live.”
