Five title fights up in URCC XX

MANILA, Philippines - Five title fights, including the duel between bantamweight interim champion Jessie Rafols and Red Romero, will highlight the 10-bout Colt 45-presented URCC XX on Nov. 5 at the World Trade Centre in Pasay City.

Romero of Yaw Yan Kampilan and Rafols, known as “The Finisher”, slug it out in the Superfight in a showdown many mixed martial arts fans believe will go the distance.

Also on tap is the match between Deftac’s Chris Luna and Hybrid Yaw Yan’s Nicholas Mann, who will be fighting for the vacant URCC light-heavyweight crown.

A street fighter during his younger days, Luna is noted for his excellent striking being a holder of a purple belt in the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Mann, who owns an impressive 20-1 win-loss record in muay thai, will lean on his quickness and powerful legs in the event co-presented by Tribal.

Froilan Sarenas will stake his URCC middleweight title against Dexter Mistades while Ryan Palinawan of Hybrid Yaw Yan battles Igor Subora for the heavyweight crown.
