MANILA, Philippines - Philippine Endurance Cup (PEC), in association with Circuit Showdown, Inc., will hold the first six-hour automotive endurance race in the Philippines “Anim na Oras ng Pilipinas” – Dec. 4 at the Batangas Racing Circuit.
Grand prize is P50,000.
Around 30 best teams in the country will be battling in the most grueling type of motorsport in endurance racing, where the deciding factor is not only speed but also durability of equipment and endurance of drivers.
Teams of two to six drivers will attempt to cover the most number of laps within six hours. Finding the best balance of power, handling and efficiency is what will set teams apart.
The event, supported by Achilles Radial, Advanti Wheels, V-Kool Tint, Mini Cars, DKC Tire Center, Speedlab and HKS Super Oil, is open to any type of car and driver with four categories to choose from – Manufacturers Cup, FM-1, FM-2 and RP Cup.
Early bird registration is P10,000 per team until Nov. 15.
