Brgy Bagumbayan stuns Tipas five in Handy Fix tiff
MANILA, Philippines - Barangay Bagumbayan drew big games from Artjay Portalito and Berto Escatron as it stunned Barangay Tipas Napindan, 101-92, in the first Handy Fix Super League National Barangay Championship at the Cayetano Sports Complex in Taguig over the weekend.
It was Bagumbayan’s third win against two losses while dealing Tipas Napindan its first loss after four wins.
Barangay Fort Bonifacio ang Barangay Bicutan share third place with 2-3 slates, while Barangay Tuktukan remains winless in five games.
In Manila, Barangay 678 won by default over Barangay 753, while in Pasay, Barangay 76 (AIMS) remains unbeaten in five outings, Barangay 17 has a 3-2 card, Barangay 18 with 2-3, Barangay Pasay SK Selection with 1-2, Barangay Zone 20 selection with 1-4, and Barangay 78 (CUP-PLP) with 0-5.
