CEBU, Philippines – Barangay Pulpogan joined early qualifier Barangay Poblacion Pardo in the regional finals of the first Handy Fix Super League National Barangay Championship.
Pulpogan, which turned back Poblacion Pardo in overtime, 82-80, battles Brgy. Dumlog of Talisay City, while Poblacion Pardo meets Brgy. Pajo of Lapu-Lapu City on Nov. 6 at the Don Vicente Sotto Memorial gym.
Ernesto Tudtud scored 15 points for Pulpogan and won the Max Bond Player of the Game honors, while Russel Moneva, who took the Sapal Defensive Player of the Game plum, added 14 points. Lawrence Miguel Marano led Pardo with 24 points.

In Davao City, Brgy. Sasa crushed Brgy. 7-A, 64-45, as Jonathan Gallo scored 15 points and Alvic Meremilla added 14; Brgy. Agdao walked over Brgy. 38-D Poblacion; Brgy. 74-A edged Brgy. 76-A, 70-69, on the combined outputs of Francis Espiritu, Reggie Rivera and Stann Apurada; and Brgy. Buhangin routed Brgy. 7-A, 80-51, behind Aldwin Cole’s 25 points and Floyd Riddick Fucanan’s 18.
The national finals are set Nov. 12 and 13 at the Don Vicente Sotto Gym in Punta Princesa, Cebu City, with the champion getting P25,000, the first runner-up P15,000, second runner-up P10,000, and third runner-up P5,000.
