NCA derby 6th leg under way

MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance holds the sixth leg of its stag circuit derby today with another crack roster of breeders fielding in their best entries at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Heading the cast in the event, hosted by Ellan Nagano, Boyet Joson, Tommy Chua and Osang dela Cruz and Jun Mendoza, are Patrick Antonio, Eric dela Rosa, Elmer Nepomuceno, Danny Soriano, Magno Lim, Gov. Ito Ynares, the Firefly Group, Claude Bautista, George Torres, Bebot Roxas, Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang, Efren Canlas, Rudy and Jun Jingco, Jet Fernando;

Mario Villamor, Manny and Armand Santos, Ruel Ricafort, Homer Mercado, Gerry Ramos and Atong Ang.

Meanwhile, the Jimafer Gle-Cle of Rudy and Jun Jingco heads the battle for the stag fighter of the year with 21 points with the Jade Red-II of Manny and Arman Santos, and Diego/IKA of Eric dela Rosa, Butchoy Olano and Alberto Cruz in second with identical 20 points.

JM Fantastic Era of Jun Mendoza has 19 points followed by the Goldquest Champions of Osang dela Cruz and Phoenix of Mario Villamor with 18 points apiece, San Leo of Ellan Nagano and A.A.O.A.A/A.A.O. Viking of Atong Ang with 17 1/2 points, MBJ/AS of Boyet Joson and Allan Siaco with 17 points; Johnny J of Negros of Johnny Jalandoni; Panique Tarlac of Bebot Roxas, AAO Hitcock of Gerry Ramos and Raymond Burgos, and CPB JT Firefly Binangonan AAO of Claude Bautista and Cesar Tan with 16 1/2 points.

The Jimafer BG-GE of Efren Canlas pooled 16 points while Jade Red-I of Manny and Armand Santos, and All Force Roma of Danny Soriano and Magno Lim have 15 1/2 points each.
