Fiba Asia youth caging, Palaro bid tackled

MANILA, Philippines - One major international campaign, a nationwide collegiate tournament, and next year’s hosting of the Palarong Pambansa will be tackled in today’s session of the PSA Forum at Shakey’s UN Ave.

Four days before leaving for Vietnam, members of the Energen Pilipinas under-16 youth team talk about their chances in the FIBA-Asia Youth Championship in the public sports program aired live over DZSR Sports Radio 918 and presented by Smart, Pagcor, Outlast Battery, and Shakey’s. Making up the panel are team manager Joel Lopa, assistant coach Nash Racela and team players led by skipper Jay Alejandro.

With them in the 10:30 a.m. forum is Marikina Mayor Del de Guzman, who will discuss the city’s bid to host the 2012 Palarong Pambansa, and sports commissioner Jolly Gomez as he expounds on the coming UniGames which the province of Capiz and the city of Roxas will host from Oct. 22 to 29.
