Erase Placenta backs Corporate Cup caging

-

MANILA, Philippines - UK Derm Erase Placenta renewed its commitment to sponsor the Celebrity and Corporate Cup basketball tournament as the event’s presenter with PGA Cars racking up three straight wins to show the way in the Elite division.

Repcon Engineering also posted the same record in Division I of the event, which drew a total of 16 teams divided into three divisions.

“This is our own way to help employees of various corporations to stay in shape. Basketball is perhaps the easiest way to keep us fit and healthy,” said sportsman and Erase Placenta owner Louie Gamboa.

“We also believe that sports marketing, specifically basketball leagues like this, is an effective tool to promote our product lines like Erase Placenta. We see family members, especially the mothers and girl friends who happen to be our target market, cheering for the players,” he added.

This marks the third time that Erase Placenta is sponsoring the event that featured former collegiate standouts like UST’s Chester Taylor and Jemal Vizcarra.

Meantime, Pakitang Gilas, composed of sportswriters, also swept its first three matches in Division II of the event backed by Molten, Puma Watches, Aquabest and Business World.

Also in the Elite Division are First Vita Plus (2-1), Protec (2-2), Gerry’s Grill (1-2) and 100 Plus (0-3) while comprising the Division I cast are San Beda (2-1), Burlington (2-1), ADB 1 (1-2), Hyundai Appliances (1-2) and Solar (0-3).

Aside from Pakitang Gilas, others vying in Division II are Team Baterina (2-2), BTV (1-2), ADB 2 (1-2) and Wi-Tribe (1-2).
