MANILA, Philippines - Two Visayan title bouts and one Superfight will headline the Colt 45 URCC Bacolod Brawl slated Oct. 16 at L’ Fisher Hotel, La Proa (Main, 1 & 2) in Bacolod City.
The star-studded fight card is part of the city’s Masskara Festival celebrations with Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC) founder and president Alvin Aguilar expecting another banner crowd to witness the slam-bang affair.
To make the 10-fight event doubly interesting, the organizing URCC is allowing the fighters – from Manila, Dumaguete, Iloilo and the host city – to use their elbows in hitting their opponents in the event presented by Colt 45 (The Strong Beer for Real Men) and backed by Tribal Gear, Smart, PCSO and L’Fisher Hotel.
“That could be their lethal weapon, so we expect more technical wizardry from the fighters,” said Aguilar.
Highlighting the event are Visayan pinweight bout between Victor Torre of Deftac Bacolod and Iloilo’s Ruel Catalan and the Visayan bantamweight tussle of Rex Delara of Tinagan MMA and Capanay MMA’s Leonard Delarmino.
Like in the two Visayan title fights, Aguilar also sees a close call in the Superfight between Yaw-Yan Manila’s Alvin Ramirez and Capanay MMA’s Agustin Delarmino.
Tickets pegged at P300 (floor seats) and P650 VIP (reserved seating) are now available at L’Fisher (034) 433-3771 (local 504).
The other scheduled fights are Dennis Salazar vs Philip Delarmino, Carl Sabeniano vs Richie Redman, Roldan Cartajena vs Arvien Baldelovar, Jinel Lausa vs Remie Crisostomo and Ernie Braca vs Rendel Camensi.
The event has also the support of Frenzy Condoms, Chris Sports, Bulls Gloves and Chiken Deli Bacolod with Solar Sports, Island Living Channel, Killer Bee, AMPTV, Headrush, SKT Digital and Sun Star Bacolod as media partners.
