MANILA, Philippines - Four competitions topbill the first ever Tuason Racing School Race Day set Oct. 2 at the Clark International Speedway.
It will be a rare festive gathering of champion racers and new faces who will be battling it out in friendly competitions of this event presented by Castrol and Bridgestone and sponsored by Coke Zero, Smart Bro, Smart Netphone, Standard Insurance Car Pro, Hafele, OMP, Belo, U-Boat, Oakley, Rota Wheels, Emotion, Starbrightbodykits, Speedlab, HAStravel.com, Manila Beer, Cable Car, Bed Head, Vector Portable GPS, and media partners C! Magazine, Stoplight TV, TurboZone, Channel V and 99.5RT FM.
Close to 200 participants have confirmed their participation in this racing fiesta which will be highlighted by the TRS Cup powered by the Ford Fiesta, the Speedlab Invitational Drag Race and the Castrol Trackday with BMW and the final round of the C! Top Driver Challenge Racer Chick Edition.
The track day alone will be bannered by over 50 BMW Club members.
The Speedlab Invitational Drag Race lured the biggest field with over 100 speed monsters vying for the fastest time in various classes.
The TRS Cup powered by the Ford Fiesta features the racing excellence of over 12 Ford Fiesta cars where fresh faces test their mettle against the veterans in a circuit competition.
The most exciting event is the C! Top Driver Challenge Racer Chick Edition Search for the Next Female Racing Superstar where six finalists will clash for the champion trophy.
The overall winner will win a full weekend scholarship to race in the TRS Cup powered by the FORD FIESTA, a two-page feature spread on C! Magazine plus exciting prizes from Oakley, OMP, Bed Head and others.
“It will be a whole day of fun and non-stop racing action. This will be just the first of series of TRS Race Day which is aimed at giving racing enthusiasts the chance to fulfill their racing dreams,” said TRS president JP Tuason.
The next two TRS Race Day events are set Nov. 13 at the Batangas Racing Circuit and on Dec. 11 again at the Clark International Speedway.
