MANILA, Philippines - The third leg of the National Cockers Alliance stag derby circuit will be held Tuesday with another huge field participating at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Tipped to field in their entries in next week’s event, sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor and hosted by Manny and Arman Santos, Ruel Ricafort, and Homer Mercado, are Mayor Ellan Nagano, Patrick Antonio, Ka Luding, Jhon Paul Dy, Johnny Jalandoni, Jun Mendoza, Ramon Mancenares, Danny Teves, Eric dela Rosa, Alberto Cruz, Gerry Ramos, Raymond Burgos, Bong Carreon, Gov. Ito Ynares, Elmer Nepomuceno, Charlie Ang, Tommy Chua, Osang dela Cruz, Ricky Magtoto, Boyet Joson and Allan Siaco.
Meanwhile, TC Phoenix dominated the second leg of the series last week, finishing with five points. The stags were bred by Paulo Malvar of Tarlac and financed by Mario Villamor, who had two consecutive wins with different entries.
The entry of Gerry Ramos failed to share top honors after losing the last fight.
Mulawin BG of Cong. Rudy Albano, Jade Red II of Arman Santos, Johnny J of Negros of Johnny Jalandoni, IKA of Lito Roque and Alberto Cruz, AAO and AAO Hitcock of Gerry Ramos, and MBJ Allan Siaco of Boyet Joson and Allan Siaco wound up with similar four points.
The fourth leg of the circuit is set Oct. 4 to be hosted by Patrick Antonio, Eric dela Rosa, Elmer Nepomuceno, Danny Soriano and Magno Lim.
