In This Corner on NBN 4
MANILA, Philippines - It’s going to be a special evening for boxing fans as Rod Nazario’s In This Corner features a rare, two-in-one, three-hour extravaganza over NBN 4 today.
Presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), and Petron, the show kicks off with the regular In This Corner program from 7- 8 p.m.
Dubbed “Thrilla in Muntinlupa KOs II”, it features the fights of Mike Espanosa-Ariel Curiba, Rey Migrino-Jason Rotoni, and Jose Ocampo-Mike Tumbaga.
The Orient Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) super-featherweight title fight between champion Ronald Pontillas and Jun Talape will be shown starting at 9:15 p.m.
The 12-round bout entitled “Thrilla in Muntinlupa 2” was held last Sept. 16 at the South Greenheights Village covered courts Pututan in Muntinlupa.
The boxing card is presented by In This Corner in cooperation with Muntinlupa Mayor Aldrin San Pedro, D. S. Almario International Promotions and businessman Desmond Malic.
