Figuracion tops ABC singles events

MANILA, Philippines - Francis Figuracion of Crown PVC Pipes scored a six-game series 1293 to bag the Architects Bowling Club’s all singles events crown at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City last week.

Frederick Chuongco of Nation Paints finished second with 1238 while Malou del Rosario of Boysen Paints had 1175, Violy Magsakay of Firefly-Royu scored 1169 and Catherine Lobo of Morning Sun rolled 1163 to place third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, ABC president Noel del Rosario, with ABC board Ronnie Javier, Denis Jalandoon and past president Nepthy del Rosario met Davao architects Rameses Tancontian, Jean Marie Juangca and Erickson Europa for the planned chartering of ABC Davao chapter on the upcoming ABC Vis-Min anniversary tournament on Oct. 15 at B-3 Bowling lanes, NCCC Mall, Maa, Davao City. Del Rosario is inviting architects in Davao and Vis-Min chapters and congratulates ABC sponsors Francis and Leah Dy for winning the Valiant League doubles crown.

The tournament, backed by Boysen Perlecente/Knoxout, Philflex Wires, Crown Supreme Pipes, Duraflex TW/THHN, Emerald Pipes, Atlanta Pipes Homeworks, Moldex, DN Steel, Eurodach, Miraga, HCG, ABC Phils., Unitec, Concrete Ventures, ProActive Pest, Famcor, August Alliance and Supreme Steel Pipes, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the leg circuit 4-man team event, also at the Green Valley lanes.
