MANILA, Philippines - The first Hadji Batu Rasul golf tournament, a fund-raising project for free and accepted Masons in the Philippines, tees off tomorrow at the challenging Philippine Navy Golf Club.
A memorial lodge, named after Rasul, will be the beneficiary of the 18-hole tournament that tees off at 6 a.m., with a hole-in-one prize of P50,000.
Proceeds of the event will be used to fund Lodge No. 393’s continuing medical missions in different parts of the country aside from enabling the Masons to provide assistance and relief to their brothers in need.
Secretary of National Defense Voltaire Gazmin has been invited as the guest of honor.
Tournament fee, which will include green fee, caddy fee, lunch and participation in the raffle, is pegged at P2,500 and everyone is invited to join.
