Bata, Django lead elite cast in Villar Cup

MANILA, Philippines - Efren “Bata” Reyes and Francisco “Django” Bustamante take time out from their busy schedule as they head a talent-laden cast of pool aces playing in the Manny Villar Cup dubbed “Villards for a Cause” today and tomorrow at the Starmall in Alabang.

The event, a Villar Foundation initiative, is held for the benefit of children with cancer.

Entrance is free with matches set to start at 10 a.m. at Starmall’s Sportscenter.

The cast includes the country’s leading players with Dennis Orcollo, Ronnie Alcano, Roberto Gomez, Antonio Lining, Lee Vann Corteza, Ramil Gallego, Rodolfo Luat, Warren Kiamco, Gandy Valle and Joven Bustamante joining Reyes and Bustamante in the fund-raiser.

Also seeing action are Jundel Mazon, Carlos Biado, Renemar David and lone lady entry Rubilen Amit.
