AdU Soaring Falcons VS DLSU Green Archers
MANILA, Philippines – The Adamson Falcons outsteadied the De La Salle Green Archers in hacking out a 66-58 victory in the UAAP Season 74 men’s basketball at the Smart Araneta Coliseum today.
The Falcons made unbelievable plays while the Archers missed from point blank at crunchtime leading to the wild ending.
After the Archers drew closer to within 61-58, Adamson’s Janus Lozada beat the shotclock with a hail mary from 30 feet that padded the lead to six, 64-58, entering the final 1:20 of the game.
La Salle ran out of luck with three bungled plays down the stretch.
Jarelan Tampus eluded Alex Nuyles but lost the ball then two consecutive point blank misses by Joseph Marata and LA Revilla did the Archers in as the Falcons escaped with their fourth win in six games.
The Archers slipped to fourth spot with a 3-3 mark.
