GDAP to stage biggest golf show

MANILA, Philippines -  Golf Distributors Association of the Philippines will hold the 16th Philippine International Golf Show on Sept. 9-11 at the SMX Convention Center in SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.

“With the major price slash downs, freebies and other promos to be offered by major golf brands, including Nike Golf, Adams Golf, Bridgestone Golf, Ping, Mizuno, Taylor Made, Maruman, Fourteen, Callaway, Phiten, Oakley, Loro, the annual golf show is definitely the best place to shop whether for an equipment upgrade or for gifts to fellow golfers, family or friends,” said GDAP president Raymund Atendido.

He added that more than 120 booths will be put up, making it the biggest golf show in years.

GDAP members Acro Golf, Aetna Manila, Besa’s Shoes, Great Depot, Pacsports, Pauline’s Group Inc., Master Sports, Raymundo’s Trophies & Sculptures, RMA Trading, Transview Golf lead the roster of golf show exhibitors.

Organizers have also invited golf course managers to reserve slots for the free seminar entitled “Irrigation of Tropical Landscapes and Turfgrass: Is it really necessary?” Only the first 50 to register will be accommodated.

Guest speaker is Prof. Robert Morris, a Horticulture Specialist and Associate Professor Emeritus of University of Nevada whose list of clientele includes nine of the major golf courses in Las Vegas.

Certificate of attendance will be given to all seminar participants.
