MANILA, Philippines - Francisca Malate Villar, grandmother of The STAR’s sportswriter Joey Villar, died recently due to lingering illness. She was 95.
Villar is survived by sons Isidro, Jesus, Rogelio and Julio, Jr.
Her remains lie in state in Iriga, Camarines Sur with interment set tomorrow (Thursday).
