MANILA, Philippines - Due to inclement weather, the scheduled matches of Baseball Philippines Series yesterday were reset for today also at the Clark Field Parade Grounds in Pampanga.
Heavy rains spawned by typhoon “Falcon” forced BP officials to postpone yesterday’s games featuring the Manila-Alabang and Cebu-Dumaguete matches.
Manila, toting an 8-1 slate, is seeking to clinch the top seeding in the semis of the league organized by Community Sports Inc. and sponsored by Gatorade and Rawlings.
Cebu, however, is just behind at 7-2 and could snatch the No. 1 spot with a win over Dumaguete coupled with a loss by the Sharks in the sixth out-of-town game day of the league backed by Victory Liner, Clark Development Corporation, SM City Clark and San Miguel Corp.
