MANILA, Philippines - City Kart Racing (CKR) is a unique karting facility at the heart of Makati’s business and shopping district which has taken team building to a different level – targeting the core values for a successful racing team and business which are speed, efficiency, precision and teamwork.
“City Kart is more than just a venue to feel the need for speed,” said Jean Marc Freihuber, owner and proprietor of City Kart Racing. “We also provide a great place to hold corporate events and team building functions.”
The facility features a flexible 600-meter indoor kart track designed to thrill novice drivers with its speed and challenge experienced racers with its turns. Located on the seventh level of Park Square 1 in Makati City, it also has a full service bar and restaurant.
City Kart presents corporate clients several event packages, according to Freihuber.
“We can customize an event to suit a corporate client’s needs,” he said. “Whether as a reward for a company’s top performers or as a team-building exercise, we can provide the perfect venue for the corporate client.”
Since its establishment in 2006, City Kart has catered to fastfood giants like Jollibee to corporations like Procter and Gamble.
“It was truly an exhilarating experience to hold our team-building activity at City Kart Racing. The endurance race satisfied our thirst for adventure and allowed us to accelerate and practice consistency, reliability and precision,” said Rajiv Ahuja, president of the ASEAN and ANZ division of Aegis BPO.
City Kart has all the equipment for a day of racing fun and enjoyable competition including top-of-the-line go-karts, a full complement of safety equipment including suits and racing helmets. During the race and event, track marshals are positioned strategically around the racetrack to make sure the action stays fun and safe for all participants.
