Chess arbitration seminar June 25-26

MANILA, Philippines - A two-day arbitration seminar, to be led by International Arbiters Gene Poliarco and Erwin Carag, will be held June 25-26 at the Ramon Magsaysay (Cubao) High School in Quezon City.

Organized by the Ramon Magsaysay Alumni Chess Club, Inc. in cooperation with the Chess Arbiters Association of the Phl (CAAP), the seminar will include teachers, coaches, trainers, amateurs, professionals and individuals who want to learn the basic skills of officiating and arbitration in chess.

Other national arbiters will also grace the seminar which will tackle the organizing FIDE Laws of Chess and rules of the Chess 960 (Fischer Random Chess).

Registration fee is P1,500, inclusive of FIDE Laws manuals, material handouts, certificates and snacks. Seminar proper will start at 8 a.m. and limited only to 20 participants.
