MANILA, Philippines - The 2011 Samsung’s National Tournament of Club Champions unfolds tomorrow with the 18-hole stroke play qualifier with around 50 players vying for match play berths in various divisions at the Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club in Gen. Trias, Cavite.
Back-to-back champion Park Jung-soo of Eastridge heads the field in the centerpiece men’s division featuring winners of the leading golf clubs in the land, looking to re-assert his supremacy over a roster raring to end his reign.
Also on tap in the sixth staging of the event, sponsored by Samsung in partnership with Eagle Ridge GCC and its developers Sta. Lucia Realty and Alsons Land, Inc. and Inquirer Golf, are the ladies, seniors and the men’s and ladies special divisions.
