MANILA, Philippines- A special episode is in store in today’s episode of Rod Nazario’s In This Corner as it airs Ronald Pontillas’ sensational win over Japanese Masao Nakamura to wrest the Oriental Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) super-featherweight title recently.

The 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. boxing show aired over NBN-4 and presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and Petron, is dubbed `Ronald Pontillas: Road to Glory.’

Pontillas, 21, traveled all the way to Osaka, Japan and bucked the partisan crowd at the Osaka Prefectural gymnasium last May 7 in inflicting Nakamura his first career loss after winning all of his first 12 fights.

Prior to airing the main title bout, past outings of Pontillas against Ronnel Esperas at the PAGCOR Paranaque and Joan de Guiao will also be shown.

Another added attraction is the highlights of Pontillas’ victory over James Bacon in Iloilo to win the Philippine super-featherweight championship.
