MSA holds 2 events in Malolos

MANILA, Philippines - Mighty Sports Association (MSA) launched a twin tournament in Malolos City, Bulacan recently where hundreds of young basketball and softball enthusiasts from various barangays took part.

The inter-barangay tournament at the Malolos Convention Center was divided into two divisions – one for 10-13 years old and the other for 14 year-olds.

Aside from the basketball tournament, MSA also held a slow pitch softball tournament, held in cooperation with the Malolos City government headed by Mayor Christian Natividad. Vice Mayor Bebong Gatchalian and city administrator Rizaldy Mendoza also graced the basketball tournament which drew a total of 40 teams and each player given a Mighty Sports jersey.

Slow pitch softball participants, on the other hard, were provided with caps bearing the MSA logo with MSA head John Sy along with other coordinators former UP star Patrick Aquino, Harlan Yu, Eric Yao, and Jean Alabanza, president of the event.
