No Mommy D at Vegas tiff

LAS VEGAS – Mommy Dionisia isn’t coming to town.

Instead, it will be Manny Pacquiao’s father Rosalio, sister Isidra and brother Bobby who will be at ringside on Saturday for the fight with Shane Mosley.

Dionisia, just as flamboyant as the son, opted to stay home and watch the fight thousands of miles away, and prepare for her grand birthday bash on May 15.

Mommy D used to watch Pacquiao fights from her hotel room in the United States, and it was only last November in Dallas, for the Antonio Margarito fight, that she watched from ringside.

It almost proved to be a fatal mistake, and she suffered a panic attack late in the match and was rushed to the hospital. She was out of the hospital the following day.
