Chess clinic up

Manila, Philippines - After its successful staging in Tagbilaran, Bohol, the Milo-sponsored Checkmate chess clinics goes to Cagayan de Oro on April 11-13 and Davao City on April 18-20.

Open to young players who are 7-14 years old, the clinic in CDO will be conducted at Lim Ket Kai Mall from 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. while in Davao, the chess classes will be held at Kapitan Tomas Monteverde Central Elem. School from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. 

The program aims to discover more potential young chess players from far provinces and to help them enrich their chess career. It will also serve as preparation for upcoming national age-group tournament to be held in Davao.
