Free coaching clinic set in QC

-

MANILA, Philippines - Quezon City Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte will organize a free basketball coaching clinic to be conducted by no less than multi-titled coach Koy Banal from April 25-29 at the Amoranto Sports Complex, Roces Ave.

The five-day event, which is in line with the youth sports development program and the livelihood project spearheaded by Belmonte, will start at 1 p.m. with attendees getting free coaching manuals.

Banal, who is currently a defensive coach at B-Meg Derby in the PBA, is expected to impart his coaching knowledge he acquired from more than a decade of calling the shot for several teams that included Far Eastern U, San Beda and Magnolia, all of which he steered to championships in the UAAP, NCAA and the PBL, respectively.
