Antonio hosts derby; Santos shows way

MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance (NCA) holds another blockbuster derby tonight with recent winner Patrick Antonio hosting the event at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Arnel Pimentel has been invited as the event’s special guest with his entries tipped to slug it out with those of Vice Mayor Goto and Bebot Uy, Ferdie Eusebio and Eddie Gonzales, Tommy Chua and Osang dela Cruz, Gerry Ramos, Elmer Nepomuceno, Rene Medina, Manny and Armand Santos, Bebot Roxas, Ruel Ricafort, Jun Santiago, Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang, Efren Canlas, Gov. Ito Ynares, Jun Topacio, Jun Mendoza, Romy Lim, Ricky Magtoto, Eric dela Rosa, Mario Villamor, James Uy, Bong Carreon, Ellan Nagaño, Pete Ison, Boy Jiao, Rep. Rudy Albano, Ernie Austria, Beboy Uy, Iggy Arroyo and Arnold Mendoza.

Meanwhile, Jade Resort I of Arman Santos continues to lead the NCA Cocker of the Year race with 38 points while Gerry Ramos’ Against All Odds is in second with 37 points followed by SF San Roque Cockpit of Vice Mayor Goto and Bebot Uy and Goldquest Champions of Osang dela Cruz and Tommy Chua are tied for third with 36 1/2 points.
