Tan, Concepcion top ABC monthly

MANILA, Philippines - Benny Tan of Atlanta Pipes rolled a six-game series of 1265 to pocket the Group I crown while Dong Concepcion of ProActive Pest Control annexed the Group 2 diadem with a 1232 while making it to the Philflex 250 club with a 266 in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championship at Green Valley lanes in Pasig City last week.

Ryan Jalandoon of ABC Phils. scored 1260, Denis Jalandoon of Duraflex Wires had 1249 and Romi de Jesus of Homeworks came up with 1247 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group I in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Ruben Mina of American Wires rolled 1143, Paul Ayson of Crown Supreme Pipes had a 1101 and Jimmy Ocampo of Duraflex had a 1085, to place second, third and fourth, respectively.

Meanwhile, ABC president Noel del Rosario is inviting all licensed architects to join the event every Tuesday as ABC gears up for its 34th anniversary in Boracay in May.

The tournament, backed by Boysen Knoxout/Suede/Perlecente, Philflex, Emerald Pipes, Moldex Pipes, DN Steel, Unitec Pipes, HCG, Firefly-Royu, Eurodach, Supreme Steel Pipes, Miraga Trading, Concrete Ventures, Famcor, Morning Sun and August Alliance, resumes at 7 tonight with the holding of first quarterly championship, also at the Green Valley lanes.
