Tiaga, Morada shine in Seasports fest

MANILA, Philippines - Randy Tiaga steered Gabriel to stock race championship while Marlon Morada piloted Octava 2 to victory in the formula races of the 2011 Manila Bay Seasports Festival at the Baywalk over the weekend.

The Philippine Army led the other winners in this year’s staging of the event, ruling the men’s division, while Triton topped the women’s side and Fleet-Marine reigned in the mixed division of the 300-meter race.

The Manila Bay Seasports festival was a project of Manila Broadcasting Company and the City of Manila, in cooperation with the Philippine Coast Guard.

It was backed by Smart Communications, Caltex, Gold Eagle Beer, Revicon Forte, Zesto, Filinvest, NutriCee, M. Lhuillier, Wings Detergent, Briggs and Stratton and Cord Marine Epoxy.
